One flew over the cuckoo's nest....

The play "One flew over the cuckoo's nest", in which I was involved with the role of Nurse Ratched, took place the first and second of April in the theatre "Calderon de la Barca", in USFQ.

This play involved a lot of work not only from the actors but also from the people which helped in makeup, ilumination and sound effects (tech), the Tiny Piano Production which made the programs, the directors, the people who created the stage and Isabela Green which helped in putting everything to work.

Choreography Competition

Last year, I was involved in helping some year 6 girls putting together a choreography for a competition, I had a lot of fun that time, so this year we decided to actually take part of the competition and perform the dance.
So me and a group of other girls from year 12/10/9 worked on a choreography for a dance competition. I was encharged for most of the creation of steps, and putting the dance together. I also had to arrange the costumes and chedule the practices as well as supervising everything before and during the competition. This competition took place on my school, the 20th of March, and involved other schools. We enjoyed much, but we had to practive a lot and put a lot of effort.
Although we had a lot of trouble getting together to practice and had a lot of issues we had to solve and adress we actually worked as a team and not only had fun but successfully involved in a school's new activity.
This competition is an action type of activity, that took me about 45 hours and even more.

One flew over the cuckoo's nest

To fulfill creativity I am participating in my school play: "One flew over the cuckoo's nest". I am one of the main roles in the play, Nurse Ratched.

We will do our performances on April 1 and 2,but we have been practicing since January 15.

This play is about Randle Patrick McMurphy, a criminal who has been sentenced to a fairly short prison term, decides to have himself declared insane so he'll be transferred to a mental institution, where he expects to serve the rest of his term. His ward in the mental institution is run by Nurse Ratched. McMurphy becomes ensnared in a number of power games with Nurse Ratched for the hearts and minds of the patients. All the time, however, the question is just how sane any of the players in the ward actually are.Throughout his short stay at the hospital, McMurphy forms deep friendships with two of his fellow patients: Billy Bibbit and "Chief" Bromden, recognized by the patients in the ward as deaf, and unable to speak, they ignore him but also respect him for his enormous size. McMurphy realizes that Chief can speak and has actually been faking his situation at the ward the whole time. This leads McMurphy to allow Chief in on his escape plan because of his hidden wisdom. Ending this scene, a more defiant McMurphy emerges from the detention area to an awaiting Nurse Ratched.
